President's Letter

NEW ENGLAND ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE FRAUD INVESTIGATORS

January 23, 2012

Dear Members:

I am pleased to report that we had an impressive turn out with over 60 attendees at this month’s meeting in Braintree. It is likely due to the topic and the talents of our presenters. Many thanks to Attorneys Jodi Conners, Patrick Conran and Shahan Kapitanyan for such an in-depth look from the PIP Litigation trenches. They presented a perspective unique to their hard work in this specialty and we are grateful for their efforts and also those of each of our skilled counsel tackling this tough practice of law.  If you missed it I am sure that they will be invited back to our June Seminar so watch the calendar.

Thanks to our good behavior we are invited back to the Travelers Office meeting space in Braintree and will hold our February meeting there. We will have coffee and refreshments starting at 9:30 AM. Simply enter the front door at 350 Granite Street (Building #1) and meet us on the second floor. You will not want to miss, U.S. Secret Service Criminal Research Specialist Sandra Kirwin present data search records that you can use.

Speaking of that we have posted a new section to the website entitled “News You Can Use” and there we will post practical topics of interest by users like us. Watch the homepage section of the site. We will choose News entries at our monthly Board of Director meetings.

You may know that Joint Seminar Committee has placed a call for Presenters as well as Vendors at this time.
